Bridal Terms & Conditions

Minimum Numbers:

Minimum numbers to include the Bride plus 2 additional adults apply during peak time throughout the year, these dates include all Saturdays and Sundays from January – December. Friday bookings include minimum numbers from March – October and during December. All other dates do not include minimum numbers, these dates include November, January and February other than special occasion dates such as New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Smaller wedding parties will incur a supplementary charge.

Reserving your wedding date:

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date of £40, your deposit will be deducted from your balance and used to cover the cost of your trial makeup. Unfortunately, I am unable to save dates after 3 days of your enquiry, please be mindful of this when booking to avoid disappointment. If my client is unhappy with her trial and wishes to cancel her booking (wedding makeup) please contact me within 3 days of trial date.

Final Balance Payment:

Your final balance is required in advance up to 7 days before your big day, this can be paid via BACS or cash. Payment method will be agreed on the trial date.

Trials:

I recommend that trials are booked in within 2-3 months running up to your big day, I understand that some brides would like a trial outside this guideline, please contact if you require an earlier appointment.

All trials take place at my salon home: Manor Crest, Ford, Shrewsbury SY5 9NZ. I can offer trials to take place in the comfort of your home, however, there would be an additional cost for travel/time.

Trials take approximately 1-1.5 hours for the bride plus 1 hour per additional person. I only allow the allocated time for trial appointments, late arrivals will unfortunately result in reduction of treatment time.

Cancellations:

Cancellations for secured wedding dates will incur the following charges:

Less than 2 weeks’ notice: 100% charge will apply

Less than 6 weeks’ notice: 50% charge will apply

Over 6 weeks’ notice: No further charges will apply excluding £40 deposit already paid.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a makeup trial appointment, please allow 24 hours notice, failing to do so may lead to a cancellation fee.

Additional Terms & Conditions:

Should I need to cancel your Bridal Day Makeup due to illness or unforeseen circumstances: weather condition, personal accident, family bereavement, I will endeavour to locate a replacement MUA who I personally recommend to cover your event, if a replacement MUA is not possible I will refund your prepaid balance.
