Nichola Witcombe-Tant

My Name is Nichola Witcombe-Tant, since I was a little girl my life has been art-oriented. This has had a huge impact on my career as a makeup artist. I have a lifetime of experience in painting, drawing and creating beauty from the most natural of environments. This has stood me in good stead and was a natural progression to move from paper to a live canvas.

After my college days in the beauty industry, I went on to learn more about makeup at The Jemma Kidd School of Makeup, London. Being fortunate enough to attend a number of workshops with established/famous makeup artists, further developing my creative side. It is of the utmost importance to me to keep current with techniques and fashion. I like to research a number of well known make up artists who are experienced and creative and adapt their professional techniques to provide a bespoke experience to my brides.

Experience

Art remains a huge part of my life and my natural interest and curiosity in the arts goes beyond the beauty industry. I attend regular life drawing classes and workshops each week which maintains a current perspective in my craft. My experiences and professional background has further enhanced my understanding of the colour palette and tools to sculpt, highlight, design and achieving balance.

During my many years of practising makeup, I have chosen only the top make up brands such as M.A.C, Urban Decay, Clinique, Laura Mercier, Benefit, Two Faced, Dior and NARS. This ensures flawless coverage that is long lasting and weightless.

I am also a highly trained beauty therapist with over 14 years experience specialising in skin care, VTCT level 3 NVQ, member of BABTAC British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology.

My Approach

Founder of an award-winning salon receiving The Wedding Industry Regional Finalist Award and The RESULTIME Salon of Destination Gold Star Awards two years running. My aim is to provide a quality and exclusive service to all clients using the best quality products and the very latest techniques. I believe in a very personal approach so that clients are ensured the highest level of care. Even after their treatments the highest level of service and products are my priority.

 I own a home salon that is extremely stylish, where my clients have the opportunity to relax and enjoy their treatments to the full, bridal consultations and makeup trials are booked in and done at my premises. However, in order to give my brides a relaxed and premium experience, I travel to them on their wedding day at their chosen venue, covering most of the UK.
