I understand the importance of adding those finishing touches to your special occasion. Professional makeup not only makes your experience memorable but also gives you a flawless and radiant look that will last all day.

I have been doing Bridal Makeup for many years. I have chosen to use only the highest quality products for flawless coverage that is long lasting and weightless. To ensure you feel relaxed I will travel to your venue on the morning of your wedding.

It is recommended that every bride should have a trial run. Trial appointments are held at my home salon. I offer a free 30-minute consultation if you wish to meet with me and discuss your bridal plans.

BRIDAL CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT

I offer a free consultation to all of my brides. This is your opportunity to meet with me and discuss your bridal makeup thoughts and go over any questions you may have. It is of the upmost importance to me that the bride is completely comfortable with the team of professionals that help her to get ready on one of the most important days of her life.

This appointment will help you decide if I am the makeup artist for you and will help you to feel at ease when it comes to your ‘Big Day”.

From here if you are happy to go ahead with your booking I will make arrangements in my diary for your makeup trial.

 BRIDAL MAKEUP TRIAL

I recommend that a trial is booked within 6-8 weeks running up to your wedding day. If you feel that you would like to have a trial done sooner because of travelling/distance, I am happy to fit you in when it is more convenient.

During your appointment I would like to discuss your bridal colour theme, your wedding dress, bridesmaids dress designs, flower ideas and hairstyles. This will help me build up an understanding of your personal style and give me ideas of makeup palettes. Please bring any photos you have so I can get a feel for your wedding day. 

I will also discuss how you would normally wear your makeup for a special occasion and makeup palettes you like. My aim is to create a makeup that you are comfortable in and will reflect your personality, is long-lasting, lightweight but has enough depth of makeup for your photography and finally has a bridal theme.

SKINCARE

I specialise in skincare and this is something I usually bring up during a trial. I have all the tricks-of-the-trade up my sleeve to keep makeup lasting from the moment I have applied my application to the very last dance. However, skincare is of the upmost importance. If you want to look like the radiant bride with glowing skin, hydration is key and I am more than happy to share my knowledge with you to prepare your skin for your wedding makeup.

When I have finished your makeup and you are completely happy with your look, I will draw and make notes for my reference of the style and products used to create your look. This will help me recreate your makeup on your wedding day. The makeup I use is of the highest quality. I use eye and face primers and finally fixing spray to set your makeup. You will not need touching up. All you will need to do is reapply your lipstick!

Lastly, I will discuss timings for the actual wedding day and agree on a time to start makeup at your chosen preparation address. To create a calm and relaxed environment we can work out a schedule to include hair appointment details, time for getting changed, photographs and ceremony time to ensure everything is running smoothly.

Trial appointments are also available to the Mother of the Bride and Groom, bridesmaids, family and friends if required.

ON THE WEDDING DAY

I will arrive at your chosen venue to get you and your bridal party ready at the time we agreed.

I love the atmosphere on the wedding morning. When I turn up everyone’s still wearing pyjamas and excited about the day ahead. There is no travelling to salons to get hair and makeup done separately, everything is relaxed.

Natural light is perfect when applying makeup. If possible this is something that we would need to consider when I set up my makeup station.

I plan about an hour to apply the bride’s makeup application. 30-45 minutes for other members of the bridal party. Before I leave, I reassess everyone’s makeup application and touch up lipstick or gloss, ensuring that everyone is looking perfect.
